About
GIS specialist, technical tinkerer and lifelong learner.
Hi, I am Toni. Based in Sweden, working with GIS analysis and development. I tend to gravitate towards clear structures, useful tools, and practical problem solving that makes everyday work a bit smoother.
Work with GIS and geodata
My work is centered around geodata, spatial data, maps, data maintenance, and automation. I use tools like QGIS, FME, NVDB, and related GIS workflows to keep data reliable and actually useful.
What I enjoy most is the mix of analysis, development, and systems thinking. Good spatial data should not just exist — it should be understandable, trustworthy, and genuinely helpful for the people who rely on it.
Technical interests
Outside of GIS, I spend a lot of time exploring Linux, Docker, Proxmox, Python, Raspberry Pi, home servers, automation, and AI tools. I enjoy figuring out how systems connect and how small improvements can remove repetitive work.
I would describe myself as calm, grounded, and goal-oriented. I like understanding problems properly before trying to solve them — and keeping a bit of humor around when things inevitably break the first few times.
Learning and building
Learning and experimenting are a big part of how I stay motivated. I prefer building simple foundations first, then improving them step by step as the needs become clearer.
AI tools are part of that process. I use them for learning, structuring ideas, and building things more thoughtfully rather than faster just for the sake of it.
